25hours Hotel Paper Island: A Scandinavian Escape in Copenhagen
Welcome to Captain Fantastic’s dream of a summerhouse on a Danish island, washed by the sea and inspired by nature at 25hours Hotels’ newest location in Copenhagen.
The 25hours Hotel Paper Island, surrounded by water on Christiansholm, is just a short walk from Nyhavn in the center of Copenhagen. The island has been transformed into a vibrant new city neighborhood, featuring pioneering architecture by the award-winning Cobe architects. These new buildings offer a fresh interpretation of harbor architecture, using concrete, brick, and timber.
Inside the hotel, the design by Swedish creative team STYLT Trampoli evokes the feel of a Scandinavian holiday home on a small island. Your journey to this Scandinavian retreat begins at the harbor-themed reception. The public spaces resemble a village, with a little shop reflecting the variety of items you might find there, from fishing gear to shoes to food. Once you make your way to the rooms or one of the three dining outlets, you’ll feel like you’ve arrived at your holiday home.
The restaurant Tiger Lily offers Asian fusion dishes to both hotel guests and those passing by. Guests are seated at communal tables, in a cozy outdoor area, and along the kitchen counter. Another lively meeting place is the Nomad Day Bar on the ground floor of the hotel where you can enjoy food and drinks with products from local suppliers. In the evening, the rooftop bar invites you to have cozy drinks in front of a fireplace or directly by the window with a beautiful view of the harbor.
