Stylish Boutique Hotel with Fantastic Views
In the vibrant heart of Copenhagen, right next to Nørreport Station, the Scandic chain has opened its first boutique hotel.
With a focus on giving guests the very best of Copenhagen, Scandic Nørreport features 100 stylish and intimate rooms, a restaurant and an inviting rooftop bar with beautiful views over Copenhagen.
The hotel architecture is by PLH Arkitekter, and the interior design is by Bønnelycke MDD. HOLMRIS B8 has supplied all loose and fixed furnishings throughout the hotel.
Intimate feel
Scandic Nørreport is located in an over 100-year-old historic building that has been transformed from an office building to a modern and cozy boutique hotel.
In addition to giving guests the best of Copenhagen, environmental and climate considerations have played a major role in the interior design of the hotel. The hotel is the first in Denmark to be certified according to the Nordic Ecolabel’s recently tightened requirements for hotels.
Dark and subdued hues run throughout the hotel’s carpets, drapery and furnishings. These combine with the use of pale woods to give Scandic Nørreport its intimate feel. In the hotel rooms, HOLMRIS Customize has supplied custom-made furnishings, from wardrobes to desks and headboards.
The hotel also features furniture from high-quality Danish brands such as Hay, Menu and Nordlux, while the rooftop terrace has a southern European feel with furniture from French Fermob. HOLMRIS B8 has also supplied the hotel with furniture from Nord Interactives, fast public, Frost, +Halle and True North.
Scandic Nørreport opened on June 1, 2022.
