Aggersvold Manor

A harmonious blend of history and modern design

At the idyllic Aggersvold Manor, which dates back to 1581, Holmris B8, in close collaboration with the manor’s owner, has overseen an extensive renovation and transformation of the facilities. The result is a modern hotel with 68 rooms, a restaurant, and meeting and conference facilities that beautifully align with the manor’s historical heritage and scenic surroundings.

The impressive riding hall, designed by Cobe Architects, has been converted, along with the old stables and granaries, into guest rooms, event, and meeting spaces. Holmris B8 has been responsible for both the interior design and the delivery of furnishings, participating from the earliest phases of the project. Our contributions include interior consulting, product development of bespoke furniture, and the delivery of furniture and all other interior elements.

A balanced aesthetic
The interior design combines modern elegance with a classic expression, featuring a more international style than traditional Danish design. The materials used are of the highest quality, and the color palette is kept in calm, warm tones. The overall design can be described as understated elegance, with the manor’s beautiful nature and historic main building providing the perfect backdrop.

Aggersvold Manor is now an exclusive destination that unites history with modern comfort. With beautiful design, meticulous attention to detail, and respect for the manor’s soul, it is the perfect setting for everything from celebrations and meetings to a getaway in luxurious surroundings.

Lighting, acoustics, and atmosphere
In close collaboration with Anker & Co., we have created optimal lighting and atmosphere throughout the manor. From the guest rooms and the restaurant to the impressive atrium in the riding hall, the lighting ensures a warm and inviting ambiance. At the same time, special focus has been placed on acoustics to create a calm and pleasant experience for all guests, where aesthetics and functionality go hand in hand.
