Oslo’s New Art Hotel
Art, culture and culinary experiences are in focus in the new Clarion Hotel Oslo. Uniquely situated in the city’s attractive, new Bjørvika district with the Opera House and the new Munch Museum (to open in 2020) as its closest neighbors, the hotel provides the ideal setting for an exceptional cultural experience.
Clarion Hotel Oslo is more than just a design hotel. It is the city’s newest art gallery. The aim was to give the hotel a strong artistic expression, inspiringly integrated into the entire decor. A permanent art collection is combined with temporary exhibitions and events organized in close collaboration with Oslo’s cultural institutions.
The elegant and daring interiors are the product of Swedish architecture studio Semren & Månsson. Black marble, glass and spectacular light installations are contrasted by bright and colorful designs, resulting in a unique and exclusive atmosphere.
We are proud to have provided consultancy and building project management services and to have supplied furniture, textiles and lighting to all 255 rooms, suites, public areas, restaurant and conference facilities for 1,200 people. We also supplied and installed specially designed panels in the public areas as well as door panels and skirting boards in the corridors.
