For the third consecutive year, HOLMRIS B8 A/S has achieved record revenue and EBITDA levels, marking the company’s most impressive performance in its history. CEO Flemming Windfeld is pleased with this development.
In the financial year from May 1, 2023, to April 30, 2024, HOLMRIS B8 A/S achieved record financial results. The revenue reached 1.3 billion Danish kroner, representing a 15.8% increase compared to the previous year. This growth can be attributed to a high level of activity both domestically and internationally.
On the EBITDA front, HOLMRIS B8 also set a record with 119 million Danish kroner, a 12.5% increase from the previous year’s financial report. This marks the third consecutive year of strong performance for HOLMRIS B8, and the company aims to continue this trend.
CEO Flemming Windfeld expressed satisfaction: “This is the best financial report in HOLMRIS B8’s history. We have secured our market position and successfully expanded our business beyond Denmark’s borders. It’s a clear part of our strategy to maintain market share domestically while growing internationally, and we’ve achieved that in our latest fiscal year.”
Sold to a private equity firm
During the financial year, HOLMRIS B8 underwent ownership changes, transitioning from BWB Partners to Mentha Capital, a Dutch private equity firm. This shift emphasizes the company’s international ambitions. HOLMRIS B8 also acquired the remaining 60% of the Norwegian company HOLMRIS/FormFunk, making it 100% owned by HOLMRIS B8 by the end of the fiscal year.
Additionally, HOLMRIS B8 secured favorable positions in the new SKI 03.13 agreement, enabling the company to serve public sector clients.
“We look forward to collaboration and deliveries to our public customers under the new agreement,” said Flemming Windfeld.
Sustainable practices are crucial
At HOLMRIS B8, sustainability is a top priority and a key factor contributing to the company’s success. The company actively explores ways to renovate existing furniture for clients. Whether it’s repurposing tabletops, reusing columns, or transforming materials into new products (such as storage shelves becoming cabinets or a tabletop becoming a conference table), HOLMRIS B8 prioritizes sustainability. Even workwear is recycled into components like tabletop surfaces.
“There’s no doubt that CO2 footprint and sustainability are top of mind for both us and our customers. Many large companies aim for up to 40% of their furniture and equipment to be recycled, and we’re committed to supporting that,” added Flemming Windfeld.
