Modern Spaces for Learning and Community
Vestskoven High School is designed as an inspiring place for learning and personal growth, with spaces that promote responsibility and democratic values. The building consists of five floors with an architectural design that combines a cubic structure atop a lower, elongated base, creating three levels of open and flexible learning environments.
Continuous corridors serve as “open learning areas,” and a large atrium allows natural light to flow through the floors from the glass roof. The exterior features gray, soft-molded bricks with light mortar, while Canadian cedarwood adds warm details.
In collaboration with Vestskoven Gymnasium, HOLMRIS B8 has crafted a tailored interior design and supplied and installed new furniture, carpets, and drapes, as well as an efficient waste presorting system.
